Fremantle Media hires Item for new online
magazines
You're hired! Fremantle Media, one of the largest
international creators and producers of programme brands including
hit show The Apprentice, has hired Item ltd to create a new suite
of internal communications.
Fremantle Media is based in London and produces
260 programmes in 39 countries and 9,000 hours of programming for
shows including Pop Idol, The Bill, Jamie's School Dinners, Neighbours,
Life Laundry and How Clean is Your House.
The organisation has reviewed communications
for its global internal audience and chosen Item to write, design
and produce an online magazine and pdf version to be print sourced
worldwide. The two magazines will go live in September.
Acting Head of Internal Communications, Sonija
Silberkuhl, commented: "Fremantle's vision for an engaging
global internal communications strategy is to connect all its people
and the enormous amount of creativity around the world. Initial
strategic priorities are to establish a solid communications fundament
with two key pillars: a global intranet and an online publication
with a difference.
"Fremantle chose Item due to their high
degree of professionalism, visible passion for the project and
outstanding expertise. They instantly understood and translated
the needs of Fremantle into an engaging and exciting proposal,
and we cannot wait to launch the first edition!"
Item director Suzanne Peck, added: "We're
delighted to be working with Fremantle at this exciting time in
communications, which increasingly puts people at the heart of
what they do."
